Easy to use

Outdoor solar lights are my thing so I am always on the hunt for a good set. This one has 200 LED lights and has 8 different settings that you can choose from to display your lights. The set up was easy - attach the spike to the stand, insert the solar panel onto the stand, remove protective film from panel, adjust to face the sun and place in the ground. Make sure you turn the switch to on. After charging for a few hours, it light up for about 6 hours during the evening. Charges during the day and comes on at dusk. Nothing easier than that. The lights themselves have a nice glow about them and are attached to the wire very well and are even wrapped. Easy to use and lights up the dark areas of my yard that have no electrical ability.

Work very well

These work all through the night and lately we have been having rain for the last few days and they are still lighting with no direct sunlight only dark clouds. One day it was completely raining from sunup to sundown and I did not think they would light at all, but they did and were still working 8 hours later when I went to bed. I have them on my wood fence outside my front door and have the solar panel attached at the top of the fence.

Very Impressed

I am very impressed so far, the first night I put them up, they were exposed to maybe 3 to 4 hours of sunlight before they came on around 7 pm. At 6:30am this morning when I walked out to go to work, they were still flashing away!!! They are nice little lights, we like the different modes and have both strings flashing in different modes. I stapled them to our privacy fence and doubled the strings up in the small area we wanted to decorate. I wish these had the little piece to be able to screw it into wood, instead of just the ground spike. I wanted the panels off the ground, so I drilled 2 small holes in each tube so I could mount them high because the fence casts a shadow. There is plenty of lead wire from the solar panel to where the bulbs actually start, so that is a plus.

Love them

I just keep buying these I love them so much. Truth is...the initial cost is it. No electrical bill and if you have checked your electric bill after you have celebrated Christmas with a bunch of mini lights that you plug in I need say no more. There is always a window close enough to charge your batteries. I put them outside all around my house in my garden during summer. I also bring the solar panels in through a window during extremely cold weather. Have you ever seen blinking mini lights under the snow? My solar lights do not like really cold weather. No matter, I find a way.

I highly recommend these

I have been decorating our double back deck, backyard and arbor for years with solar lights, color changing stake lights and mobiles. Our backyard is a real fairy land which is greatly enjoyed by neighbors, friends and family. Neighbors are adopting the idea too. These nice long strings of tiny lights on green cords disappear on plants and trees nicely until night when they light up. I've even put them on my nine huge tomato plants that are in 20 gallon buckets on the deck. The only thing to watch for is to be sure the chargers have good sunlight exposed, I.e. move leaves from covering chargers as plants grow. I've put them on my Asian pear trees too. Beautiful!
